Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire - Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn - Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Heat-Related Explosion - The product may explode unintentionally.
  4. Falling - Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.
  5. Poisoning - Use of the product may lead to poisoning.
  6. Crash - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional crash.
  7. Entrapment -
  8. Safety Equipment Malfunction - The safety product does not operate as intended and use of the product may lead to injury or death.
  9. Choking - Use of the product may lead to choking, or the product violates federal toy safety standards, or the product violates federal children clothing standards (drawstrings).
  10. Ingestion - Use of the product may lead to unintentionally ingesting the product and cause injury or death.

Recall Remedies - 5 Years

Note: Recall Remedy data may change daily to reflect updates to company operating status or recall remedy availability. Recalls with multiple remedies (ex. Repair and Replace) will be counted in each remedy.
  1. Refund - A customer may receive a full or partial refund, or gift card for the recalled product.
  2. Repair - The company is offering a repair to the recalled product.
  3. Replace - The company is offering a replacement for the recalled product in the form of a new product or other products of similar value.
  4. Dispose - The product should be thrown out or recycled.
  5. Remedy No Longer Available - The recalled product should be thrown out or recycled.
  6. New Instructions - The company will issue new instructions on how the customer can make the recalled product safe.

Hazard:

The recalled light-up rings violate the mandatory safety standard for toys because the battery compartment within the LED light ring contains button cell batteries that can be easily accessed by children. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death.

Remedy:

Consumers should take the recalled light-up rings away from children, stop using them immediately and remove and properly dispose of the batteries. Consumers will be asked to throw away the light-up rings and send a photo of the disposed product to BUDIrecall@outlook.com for a full refund.   

Note: Button cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

Hazard:

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because when the bed rails are attached to a bed, users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. In addition, the bed rails do not bear the required hazard warning labels.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled bed rails immediately and contact Fuzhou Shiahaha Cultural Industry Development for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write” RECALL” with permanent marker on the bed rails and then dispose of the recalled product in accordance with the state and local waste disposal procedure.

Hazard:

The recalled bed rails violate the mandatory standard for adult portable bed rails because users can become entrapped within the bed rail or between the bed rail and the side of the mattress, posing a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation. In addition, the bed rails do not bear the required warning labels.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adult portable bed rails and contact Sangohe for a full refund. Consumers should destroy the bed rails by cutting the handrails’ foam padding and writing “RECALLED” on the upper and lower rails with permanent marker, take a photo of the destroyed rails and email the photo to SGHproductrecall@163.com

Hazard:

The hair serum contains minoxidil which must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The hair serum’s packaging is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

Remedy:

Consumers should secure the recalled serum bottles out of sight and reach of children immediately and contact DrHealBeauty for a free empty replacement bottle with a child-resistant closure into which consumers should transfer the recalled bottle’s contents.

Hazard:

The hair and beard growth serum contains minoxidil, which must be in child-resistant packaging, as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The bottles are not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately secure the recalled serum bottles out of sight and reach of children and contact TECFLOX to receive free replacement serum bottles, including shipping. Only bottles with serum remaining will be replaced. Consumers will be asked to dispose of the bottles’ contents and email a photo of the bottles in the trash, showing the manufacture date to TecFloxrecall@outlook.com.

Hazard:

The carabiner’s gate can malfunction where the gate does not close automatically and has to be closed manually by hand, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to falling. 

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled carabiner immediately and contact OCUN NA for a free replacement. Consumers will be asked to fill out the recall form and email it to recall@ocun.com and follow the instructions to receive a prepaid return shipping label and return the recalled product.

Hazard:

The recalled spiral tower toy sets violate the mandatory standard for toys because they contain small balls and are intended for children under three years of age, posing a deadly choking hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should take the toys away from children immediately and contact Beestech for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write “Recalled” with permanent marker on the toy and send a photo of the marked toy to beestechballtowerrecall@hotmail.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled product.

Hazard:

The chargers can ignite or cause a connected battery to ignite, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury and death.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chargers and contact Huizhou Haitan Technology for instructions on how to return the chargers for a full refund. Consumers will be instructed to contact the firm to request a prelabeled and prepaid return package to be sent to them so they can return the chargers to the firm for disposal.

The canopy beams of the bed frames can collapse primarily when the bed is moved, posing impact and injury hazards to consumers.

Remedy:

Consumers should not move the recalled bed frames and contact Samson International immediately for a free repair and installation kit consisting of four metal brackets and mounting hardware.

CPSC is warning consumers to stop using Apromise Portable Outdoor Grill Tables, Model GCNJ2401B, immediately due to the risk of fingertip amputation and crushing injuries when the products fold or collapse. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the grill tables immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.

The “Relaxing Baby” Swim Floats can flip over and/or submerge the occupant underwater, posing a risk of drowning to infants and toddlers.

 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to puncture the plastic in any location where the product can inflate and dispose of the swim float immediately. Do not sell or give away these hazardous swim floats.

The pressure washers lack an integrated immersion protection device on or near the power plug, also known as a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI), posing a risk of death or serious injury due to electrocution and shock. These pressure washers do not comply with the applicable voluntary standard.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the pressure washers immediately, and destroy them by unplugging, cutting the power cord, and disposing of them.  Do not sell or give away these hazardous pressure washers.

Using the Rozato Tabletop Fire Pits can result in uncontrolled pool fires where flames burn across the surface of pooled or spilled alcohol, as well as flame jetting from fuel containers, resulting in serious or fatal burns.  

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the fire pits immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.

The pressure washers lack an integrated immersion protection device on or near the power plug, also known as a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI), posing a risk of death or serious injury due to electrocution and shock. In addition, using the cables to supply power from a generator to a residential electrical system (“backfeeding”) poses a risk of electrocution and fire. Furthermore, the cables’ short length encourages the use of generators close to homes or enclosed spaces, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using these defective male-to-male extension cords immediately, safely unplugging them by not touching the live end of the cord and dispose of them.
