Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire - Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn - Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Heat-Related Explosion - The product may explode unintentionally.
  4. Falling - Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.
  5. Crash - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional crash.
  6. Poisoning - Use of the product may lead to poisoning.
  7. Safety Equipment Malfunction - The safety product does not operate as intended and use of the product may lead to injury or death.
  8. Impact - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional impact that may cause injury or death.
  9. Choking - Use of the product may lead to choking, or the product violates federal toy safety standards, or the product violates federal children clothing standards (drawstrings).
  10. Ingestion - Use of the product may lead to unintentionally ingesting the product and cause injury or death.

Recall Remedies - 5 Years

  1. Refund - A customer may receive a full or partial refund, or gift card for the recalled product.
  2. Repair - The company is offering a repair to the recalled product.

Hazard:

The ball joint connected to the front suspension arm can loosen and separate from the front suspension arm, resulting in the driver losing wheel support of the utility vehicle, posing a crash hazard to consumers.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact an authorized Kubota dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair at the dealer’s location. Kubota is contacting registered owners directly.

Hazard:

The painted hair clips contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, posing a lead poisoning hazard to children. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled hair clips away from children, stop using them and contact YFLGOTOO. Consumers will need to provide a picture of disposal, to receive the remedy. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The lithium-ion battery in the recalled portable chargers can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled portable chargers and contact Baseus to receive a free replacement charger. The replacement portable charger will have the same model number (BS 30KP365) and a different serial number ending in the letter “A.” Consumers will need to submit a photo of the recalled portable charger showing the model number and serial number to the firm’s recall registration page. Consumers without an order number will need to submit a photo of the portable charger with their name and date written on the portable charger in permanent marker. Visit https://www.baseus.com/pages/recall_select_BS-30KP365 to register and get instructions on how to receive a free replacement. To receive a replacement, consumers will be required to confirm disposal of the portable charger in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Hazard:

The recalled electric bicycle’s lithium-ion battery can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric bicycles, disconnect the battery from the bike and charger, and visit the manufacturer’s website at https://santacruzbicycles.com/pages/recall-heckler-9-lithium-ion-battery to determine if their bicycle is affected and, if so, to register for a free replacement battery to be sent to them. If their battery is involved in this recall, consumers will be required to write “Recalled” on the involved affected battery and upload a photograph of it to https://santacruzbicycles.com/pages/recall-heckler-9-lithium-ion-battery. These consumers should then dispose of the battery in accordance with local and state regulations following registration.

The controller on the recalled ride-on dump trucks can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled children’s dump trucks and contact Huffy for a free replacement controller. Huffy is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The recalled window shades have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children, due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window shades are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard. The window shades also violate federal regulations for labeling of window coverings. 

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled window shades, cut the operating cord and contact LuckupShein to receive a free repair, consisting of a replacement operating cord device. Consumers will be asked to send a photo of the recalled product with the operating cord cut to luckupshein@163.com. Once the firm receives the picture of the product with the original cord cut, consumers will be sent a replacement operating cord wand device with installation instructions.

Hazard:

The recalled window blinds have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children, due to strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window blinds are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings and present a substantial product hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled window blinds and contact BTAMREE for a full refund. Consumers should remove the window blind, mark it with the word “Recalled” and dispose of the product in the garbage. Consumers should take a photograph of the window blinds destroyed in the garbage and upload the photo to sales@cy-bamboo.com to register their product and to receive a refund. BTAMREE is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The recalled lights violate the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products designed to use button cell or coin batteries because the strip lights allow easy access by children to the lithium coin batteries, posing an ingestion hazard. In addition, the recalled products do not have the required warnings. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled LED strip lights immediately and contact AliExpress to receive a full refund. Consumers should destroy the lights by cutting them in half and disposing of them. Consumers must send a photo of the destroyed lights to us_product_recall@aliexpress.com or by replying to the recall email sent by AliExpress. AliExpress is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Note: Button cell and coin batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

The recalled ride-on toys can overheat due to improper wiring, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled UTVs and contact Huffy Corporation to schedule a free repair. Consumers can have the repair done by a third party. Huffy Corporation will reimburse consumers up to $50 for charges incurred in the third-party repair.

The primary gear for the crank shaft can fail, posing a crash hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled competition and cross-country motorcycles and contact a Kawasaki dealer for a free repair. The primary gear will be replaced with a new gear. The repair will take place at an authorized Kawasaki dealership.

These fakes, sold both as plush figures and plush keychains, are small enough for a child to fit the doll in their mouth and block their airway. CPSC has also received reports of fake Labubu dolls that break apart easily, releasing small pieces that can become choking hazards. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC is warning consumers not to buy these knockoff products and to stop using them immediately.

Hazard:

The mattresses violate the requirements of the mandatory standard for flammability of mattresses, posing a deadly fire hazard. The mattresses also do not have required labeling.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the Elitespace mattresses immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous mattresses

The hair serums contain minoxidil and must be in child-resistant packaging as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The packaging is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the serum is swallowed by young children.

CPSC urges consumers to immediately secure the serums out of sight and reach of children and dispose of them.

Hazard:

The mattresses fail to meet mandatory requirements for thickness of the filling and fail to identify the specific brands and model numbers of the play yards in which they are intended to be used, resulting in a risk of serious injury or a deadly entrapment or suffocation hazard in gaps between the mattress and a play yard.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the mattresses immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous mattresses.

Hazard:

The youth ATVs are missing parking brakes, tail lamps, stop lamps and all required safety reflectors, which reduces the visibility of the ATV to other vehicles, posing a risk of collision. Additionally, the ATVs violate other mandatory safety requirements for ATVs, such as lacking hang tags and required labeling. ATVs that violate the mandatory standard pose a risk of serious injury or death to the rider.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the Duwiikab Youth ATVs immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local disposal requirements. Do not sell or give away these hazardous ATVs.

Hazard:

The numbing creams contain more than 5 milligrams of lidocaine and do not come in child-resistant packaging, in violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a deadly risk of poisoning to young children.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to immediately secure the numbing creams out of sight and reach of children and dispose of them.

July 10, 2025
Hazard:

The crib mattresses fail to meet flammability requirements, violating the mandatory standard for mattresses, posing a deadly fire hazard. The mattresses also may not adequately fit certain non-full-sized cribs, which is in violation of the mandatory standard for crib mattresses, posing a deadly entrapment hazard. Babies have suffocated in gaps between an undersized mattress, or extra padding, and side walls of a product, especially when the infant’s face becomes trapped against the side and the mattress, preventing the infant from breathing.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the crib mattresses immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous crib mattresses.
