PRODUCT: - Peppermint Basket Candles - The Paper Magic Group, Inc., of Scranton, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 31,000 Christmas candles. They consist of a fragranced candle in a red and white "peppermint striped" ceramic candle holder. The candle holder is in the shape of a basket and includes a decorative ceramic handle that extends over the top of the basket. The basket is about 4 inches in diameter and the handle extends about 3.5 inches over the top of the basket. The name "Candle Illusions" is on the bottom of the basket. Drug and grocery stores nationwide sold these candles from October 2000 through December 2000 for about $6.
PROBLEM: The ceramic handle that extends over the top of the basket can become hot during use, posing a burn hazard if touched.
INCIDENTS/INJURIES: The Paper Magic Group has received one report of a consumer that received a minor burn injury.
