Description:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to immediately stop using Malinaggg Happy Baby Musical Instrument toy sets. The infant musical toys have maracas and drumsticks with spherical ends, posing a choking hazard and a strap on the drum that can entangle around a child’s neck, posing a strangulation hazard. These hazards pose a serious risk of injury or death to children.

CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the seller, Shenzhenshitingyuxinmaoyiyouxiangongsi, doing business as DTYSGF, of China. DTYSGF has not responded to requests for a recall.

About 30 toy sets were sold online at Walmart.com from February 2025 through October 2025 for about $5. The toy sets may also have been sold by various third-party sellers and on other websites.

The plastic toy sets consist of four musical instruments: a drum with strap and drumsticks, maracas, trumpet and rattle. “H@ppy B@byband” is printed on the drum and “B@byband” is printed on the maracas and rattle.

These products were manufactured in China.

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the toys immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous toys.
