WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Eveready Battery Co., of St. Louis, Mo., is voluntarily recalling about 79,000 "Pirates of the Caribbean" Medallion Squeeze Lights. Surface paints on the leather strap attached to the medallion squeeze light contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
