Description:

PRODUCT: Garden Tractors - Electrolux Home Products, Inc. of Cleveland, OH is voluntarily recalling about 22,000 garden tractors. Mass merchandisers and authorized dealerships sold the recalled garden tractors from January 2001 to September 2001 for between $2,300 and $4,000. They were manufactured in the USA. The recall includes the following Sears Craftsman, Husqvarna and Poulan Pro garden tractors, with model numbers and serial date codes in the following ranges:

WHAT TO DO: Consumers who have purchased one of these garden tractors (within the affected date code range) are asked to stop using the tractor immediately, call the appropriate telephone number for your model listed above, give the customer service representative your garden tractor model name, model number and serial number information. This information is located under the tractor seat on the fender. We will verify if your tractor is affected by this recall. If your tractor is affected, we will schedule a free repair of the unit.
