The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using “Bed Rail for Toddler” immediately. The bed rails violate the federal standard for children’s portable bed rails because, when installed, a child can become entrapped in the openings between the mattress and bed rails, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to entrapment.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the children’s portable bed rails immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.
CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the retailer, Shenzhen Yulong Tengfei Technology, dba Yulong Tengfei, of China. Yulong Tengfei has been unresponsive to CPSC’s request to recall these products or offer a remedy to consumers.
This warning involves children’s portable bed rails. The three-piece bed rails have a white steel frame and gray mesh fabric panels. “Bed Rail for Toddler” and “Model No.: BR-G-SKY” are printed on a label stitched to the bed rails.
