The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using XIOYIG infant walkers immediately because they violate the mandatory safety standard for infant walkers, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fall hazard. The infant walkers can fit through a standard doorway and fail to stop at the edge of a step.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the infant walkers immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous infant walkers.
CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the retailer, Guangzhoushifanerruiguojimaoyiyouxiangongsi, doing business as Fanerui, of China. Fanerui has not agreed to recall these infant walkers nor offer a remedy to consumers.
The XIOYIG-branded infant walkers are foldable, have five adjustable height settings and were sold in dark gray, light gray, black and pink. They have six-wheel assemblies with a detachable music box and colorful rotatable toys. “Model Number: A001” and “Infant Baby Walker” are printed on a label on the seat’s underside.
