When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the magnetic stick figures toy sets immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous magnetic toy sets.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to stop using LRIGYEH Magnetic Men stick figure toy sets immediately. The magnetic toy sets violate the mandatory standard for toys because when pulled apart, the figures’ arms and legs liberate magnets that are stronger than permitted and fit within CPSC’s small parts cylinder, posing a risk of serious injury or death if ingested by children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the seller Guangzhoulanmazhadianzishangwuyouxiangon doing business as MAZHA, of China. MAZHA has not agreed to recall the toy sets or offer a remedy to consumers.
About 145,830 toy sets were sold online at Amazon.com from February 2024 through October 2025 for about $7. The magnetic stick figure toy sets may have also been sold by various third-party sellers and on other websites.
The toy sets consist of flexible stick figures in purple, blue, yellow, red and green. The stick figures come in sets of five or 10 and in solid or translucent colors. Each stick figure has four small magnets, one in each hand and foot. The stick figures come packaged in a plastic storage case. The brand name “LRIGYEH” and “Magnetic Travel Toys” are printed on the top of the plastic storage case.
The products were manufactured in China.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the magnetic stick figures toy sets immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous magnetic toy sets.
