Description:

This recall involves Marine Elite coolers sold in white with stainless steel latches. The coolers were sold in four sizes: 72-quart, 94-quart, 128-quart and 162-quart.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the cooler immediately and contact Igloo Products Corp. to receive a free latch replacement kit.

Incidents/Injuries:

Igloo Products has received eight reports of lacerations requiring stitches on the consumer's legs or arms.

West Marine stores nationwide from January 2008 to July 2008 for between $80 and $375.
