Description:

WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Cherrydale Fundraising, of Allentown, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 45,000 Decorative Stretchable Aqua Bracelets. The bracelets contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Description: The recalled bracelets are stretchable, with silver-colored square links and aqua-colored beads. SKU#5384706813 is printed on the packaging.

Sold at: Various dollar stores, liquidators, and schools as part of fundraising, nationwide from September 2003 through April 2007 for between $1 and $12.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bracelets and keep them away from young children. Return them to the store where purchased or contact the firm to receive a full refund.
