WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Atico International USA Inc., of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., is voluntarily recalling about 27,700 Patio Umbrellas. The umbrella poles contain paint with excessive levels of lead, which can cause adverse health effects if ingested by young children.

Hazard: The umbrella poles contain paint with excessive levels of lead, which can cause adverse health effects if ingested by young children.

Description: These patio umbrellas have an opening size of 9-feet wide by 94.5-inches high. They are sold in the following solid colors: Tan, Red, Green, and Navy Blue.
Sold at: Longs Drug Stores nationwide from April 2006 through May 2006 for about $40.
