WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Trisonic/Eastern America Trio Products, of Flushing, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 12,000 Nightlights. The nightlight poses a serious electrocution, electric shock, burn and fire hazard to consumers.

Incidents/Injuries: Trisonic has received a report of a nightlight exploding, resulting in laceration injuries to a consumer.
Description: The recalled nightlights have a yellow exterior shaped like a smiley face. A label on the back of the nightlight reads, "Trisonic, 4W/120Vcustom made in China for Trisonic, Queens, NY, TS-45431."
Sold at: Dollar stores in the eastern portion of the United States between April 2001 through March 2003 for about $1.
