WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announces the following recall in voluntary cooperation with the firm below. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Name of product: Isabella model cribs

Units: 318

Manufacturer: Stanley Furniture Company Inc., Stanleytown, Va.

Hazard: An incorrect screw (used to attach the movable gate) was provided for the assembly of some of these cribs. The crib cannot be assembled using this screw. The result is a potential risk that a child could fall from the crib or become entrapped between the gate and the mattress.

Incidents/Injuries: None reported.

Description: These are Isabella model cribs with model number 326-94C1 or 326-94C2. The model number appears on the bar code label. The Isabella cribs are distributed through Stanley Funiture's Young America line. They are made of wood and painted white.

Sold at: Department and furniture stores nationwide from November 2003 through February 2004 for about $980.

Manufactured in: U.S.A.

Remedy: The firm is no longer in business. The remedy is not available. Discard the recalled crib.
