In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Mostly Memories Inc., of Ozark, Mo. is voluntarily recalling about 1,200 Kitchen Krumblers Apple Cinnamon candles. The dried apples and cinnamon in the candle can ignite causing a flare up and breaking the glass, posing a fire hazard.

Hazard: The dried apples and cinnamon in the candle can ignite causing a flare up and breaking the glass, posing a fire hazard.
INCIDENTS/INJURIES: Three reports have been received of a candle flaring up, breaking the glass, and spreading fire. No injuries have been reported.
Description: The scented candle is housed in a clear glass holder and has a crumbled appearance with color variations. It contains slices of dried apple and cinnamon sticks in the wax. The candle is 3 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches high. "Kitchen Krumblers" is labeled at the base of the candle. The candle was sold separately or in a set with another candle not involved in this recall.
Sold at: The Country Door Catalog and website from February 2004 through May 2004 for about $12.
