Rebekah Kempske (LSM), and other CPSC staff will participate in a virtual meeting with the PHTA-16 Standard Writing Committee (SWC) from 03/23/2026 at 2:00 PM to 03/23/2026 at 4:00 PM (ET). This meeting was requested by Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA).
This meeting is to discuss revisions to the APSP-16 2017 American National Standard for Suction Outlet Fitting Assemblies (SOFA) for Use in Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs, referenced in the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Act (VGBA).
