Chair Hoehn-Saric and his staff will participate in a meeting with representatives from National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) to discuss their petition requesting rulemaking to mandate testing and labeling regarding slip resistance of flooring, floor coatings and treatments, floor cleaning agents, and footwear. Participants include: Russell Kendzior, Chair and President of the NFSI; Howard Harris, Orthopedic Surgeon with Texas Orthopedic Specialists, LLC and Treasurer of the NFSI; Edwin Foulke, Attorney at Law with Fisher & Phillips LLP and Board Member of the NFSI; Thad Whittier, AVP, Casualty Loss Control, Risk Management Group with AWAC Services Company and Board Member of the NFSI.
