The Southeast Asia Program ensures ongoing cooperation with the United States’ consumer product trade partners in the region. CPSC maintains active programs with Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, and seeks constructive roles in the product safety work of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. Our outreach has touched thousands of foreign industry representatives at trade shows and conferences in Southeast Asia, with topics ranging from general CPSC requirements to specific product manufacture guidelines.
