CPSC’s eFiling team webinar from June 3rd which highlights the 1-month mark until the full implementation date of eFiling for most regulated products. The topics will include a general overview, what to expect, certification resources, and updates to the Product Registry.
CPSC staff have removed the portion of the recording related to the certification of bicycle tires (timestamp 20:45 to 21:45) for further internal review to ensure complete accuracy of the message.
As a reminder, products require certification when they are a consumer product, or part of a consumer product that is subject to a consumer product safety rule under the CPSA, or similar rule, ban, standard, or regulation under any other law enforced by the Commission, that is imported for consumption or warehousing, or is distributed in commerce, and that is packaged, sold, or held for sale to, or for use by, consumers.
