Decision
The Commission voted unanimously (5-0) to approve publication in the Federal Register, as drafted, of the notice of proposed rulemaking that would establish a safety standard forchildren's folding chairs and folding stools under the Danny Keysar Child Product SafetyNotification Act, section 104 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of2008. Inaddition, the proposed rulemaking would amend 16 C.F .R. part 1112 to add the proposedstandard (16 CFR part 1232) for notice of requirements purposes and amend16 C.F.R. part 1130to specify that children's folding stools are also considered a durable infant or toddler product.
