Joel Recht, Mark Kumagai, Janet Buyer, and Matthew Brookman, Directorate for Engineering Sciences, will be attending the Portable Generator Manufacturers' Association (PGMA) Technical Summit; 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., at the Bracewell Law offices at 2001 M Street NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC. The purpose of the meeting is to review the latest draft revisions to the ANSI/PGMA G300 Standard “Safety and Performance of Portable Generators” and for PGMA to provide all attendees with rationale behind the technology PGMA expects will be used to address the risks associated with CO emissions from use of portable generators in enclosed or partially enclosed areas.
