George Borlase, Assistant Executive Director for Hazard Identification and Reduction, and other staff will meet with Scott Stefaniak and others of Champion Power Equipment; 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., to discuss proprietary information related to Champion’s CO detection and shutoff system they are developing to address the carbon monoxide poisoning hazard associated with portable generators when used in enclosed spaces. The meeting will be held at Champion’s facility in Sussex, WI. The meeting was requested by CPSC staff.
