CPSC Staff Meeting with ICIX
Staff from Acting Chairman Buerkle's office and CPSC safety operations directorates will be meeting with representatives from ICIX including Matt Smith, Phil Newmoyer, Jennifer Yelle, and Matt Howsare (Mintz Levin). The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the facilitation of voluntary information sharing between brands, manufacturers, and regulators to facilitate trade. The meeting is closed to the public because internal business processes and proprietary software information will be discussed. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m., Bethesda Towers.
