I want to commend CPSC Acting Chairman Ann Marie Buerkle for her years of dedicated service to the American people.   She has spent her entire life in service to others.  While we differ greatly on policy and government philosophy, we have always agreed on the importance of representing the agency and its great staff with civility.  I look forward to continuing to work with her in the months to come and to call her a life-long friend.
