ASTM F15.42 Furniture Subcommittee
Kristen Talcott (ESHF), and other CPSC staff will be participating in virtual meeting with the ASTM F15.42 Furniture Subcommittee on September 14, 2026 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (EDT). This meeting was requested by ASTM. This meeting will include discussion of potential changes to standards for clothing storage units (ASTM F2057) and tip restraints for clothing storage units (ASTM F3096). It will also include discussion of potential new standards for non-sealed storage chests, recliners, and wall beds, and other furniture safety-related topics.
