Scott Ayers (ESEF), and other CPSC staff will participate in a virtual meeting with the UL 1563 TC Task Group on Flammable Refrigerant Requirements in Spas and Hot Tubs on 08/05/2026 at 11am to 1pm (ET). This meeting was requested by UL 1563 TC Task Group.
The task group is determining if new requirements are needed for heat pumps located underneath the skirt of a spa or hot tub.
