Commissioner Robert Adler and staff meeting with representatives from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA): Katie Reilly, Senior Manager, Environmental and Sustainability Policy, and Rehan Ehsan, Senior Director, Standards and Technology; and the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI): Chris Cleet, Senior Director, Environment and Sustainability, and Rick Goss, Senior Vice President, Environment and Sustainability. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the use of additive, non-polymeric OFRs in electronic casings; flammability standards and current approaches/technologies for compliance; and manufacturing practices of industry. This is a follow-up to the Sept. 27 tech-to-tech meeting between CPSC staff and the electronics industry.
