Janet Buyer, Joel Recht, and other CPSC staff will participate in a webinar put on by the Portable Generator Manufacturers Association (PGMA), at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and repeated again at 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  The purpose of the webinar will be to review PGMA’s recently revised American National Standard, ANSI/PGMA G300-2018, Safety and Performance of Portable Generators, which has been recently revised to contain requirements for a shutoff system that will shut the generator off when carbon monoxide (CO) accumulates to certain concentrations at a CO sensor mounted on the generator.  The meeting was requested by PGMA. For additional information, contact Janet Buyer, jbuyer@cpsc.gov (301) 987-2293.  Transmitted to the Office of the Secretary 6/7/18.  Posted in the Public Calendar 6/7/18.  (S)
