Acting Chairman Ann Marie Buerkle and staff are meeting with Joyce Davis, President of Keeping Babies Safe, and Rick Greenberg, Vice President of Keeping Babies Safe, regarding supplemental mattresses. Ms. Davis filed a petition in June 2015 requesting the Commission to ban supplemental mattresses for play yards with non-rigid sides which are currently marketed to be used with non-full-size cribs, portable cribs, play pens and play yards.
