CPSC Rule Banning Inclined Infant Sleep Products Goes into Effect

June 23, 2022

As of today, CPSC has banned all infant sleepers with inclines over 10 degrees.  This will save infants’ lives—infants who would otherwise die while sleeping in inclined products.  While CPSC works to swiftly clear the market of all dangerous inclined sleepers, parents should remain vigilant:  only a firm, flat surface is safe for sleep.

Help us crack down on illicit products—report any concerns to CPSC at saferproducts.gov.
