Acting Chairman Peter Feldman Announces Key Senior Staff Appointments

WASHINGTON, DC -- Today, Peter A. Feldman, Acting Chairman of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the following senior staff appointments:

Tripp DeMoss has joined Acting Chairman Feldman’s office as Senior Counsel and White House Liaison.  Tripp most recently was as an attorney at Balch & Bingham LLP. Tripp’s career spans well over a decade in law and government.  He served as a legislative assistant for Congressman Dennis Ross, as legislative counsel for Congressman Ted Yoho, and as a Legislative Officer in the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs during the first Trump Administration.  In private practice, Tripp specialized in civil litigation, appeals, and public policy. He clerked for Judge R. Austin Huffaker Jr. on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.

Tripp received his B.A. in Political Science from the Honors College at the University of Alabama, summa cum laude and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Noah Vehafric has been appointed to serve as Special Assistant to Acting Chairman Feldman.  Prior to joining CPSC, Noah was an associate at AxAdvocacy, a public affairs and government relations firm, where he specialized in researching issues related to technology, telecommunications, tax, and other business-related issues.

Noah has also held roles at The Heritage Foundation and Americans for Tax Reform, focusing on tech and telecom issues, and interned with the U.S. Congress and the Government Accountability Office.  A Pennsylvania native, he holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from American University.
