Recall Details

Description:

This recall involves glass bubble knobs used on cabinet doors and drawers. The knobs were sold in two sizes and six colors including: blue, amethyst, pink, green, smoke and clear. The larger knobs are about 1.25 inches in diameter. The smaller knobs are about .75 inches in diameter. The glass knobs are attached to bronze-colored hardware.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the glass knobs and return them to any Cost Plus World Market or World Market store for a full refund.

Incidents/Injuries:

The firm has received five reports of broken knobs resulting in five reports of hand and/or finger lacerations.

Cost Plus World Market and World Market stores nationwide from October 2010 to April 2014 for between $2 and $4.
