This recall involves the Glion SmartScooter Model 100. The foldable electric scooters are aluminum and come in black or white. The scooters are powered by lithium-ion batteries and have a kickstand, two tires and a USB phone charger. “GLION” is printed on the standing board of the scooter. The scooters measure about 38 inches long and 5.5 inches wide and 45 inches tall when unfolded.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric scooters and contact Probity Cell for a free repair or a store credit toward the purchase of another product.
The firm has received three reports of the scooter’s frame breaking, including one hip and elbow abrasion injury.
