WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Raz Imports Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas, is recalling approximately 3,750 Christmas angel candlestick holders. The acrylic candlestick holder may ignite and burn when exposed to a direct flame.

The candlestick holder, measuring 9.5 inches high, is shaped like an angel. The candlestick was sold in two models: model 954265 made of clear acrylic and model 954266 made of frosted acrylic. The Christmas angel candlestick holders also can be identified by the name Raz Imports Inc. printed on a white label on the bottom of the holder, under the angel's skirt. Small retail and specialty stores nationwide sold the candlestick holders from May 1995 to October 1995.

Consumers should return the candlestick holders to their retailers for a refund of the purchase price. For more information, consumers should contact Raz Imports at (800) 443-3540.

Raz Imports is not aware of any injuries or property damage associated with this product. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injury.
