Andrew Trotta and Einstein Miller Participating in a Teleconference with the National Electrical Code (NEC-NFPA70) Code Making Panel (CMP) 17

Andrew Trotta and Einstein Miller, Office of Hazard Identification and Reduction, participating in National Electrical Code (NEC-NFPA70) Code Making Panel (CMP) 17 teleconferences to discuss public comments and develop proposed revisions for the first draft for the 2023 revision of the NEC. Proposed revisions will cover Article 422 Appliances, Article 424 Fixed Electric Space-Heating Equipment, Article 425 Fixed Resistance and Electrode Industrial Process Heating Equipment, Article 426 Fixed Outdoor Electric Deicing and Snow-Melting Equipment, Article 427 Fixed Electric Heating Equipment for Pipelines and Vessels, Article 680 Swimming Pools, Fountains and Similar Installations and Article 682 Natural and Artificially Made Bodies of Water.  The meeting is being held on January 4 - 9, 2021, from 10:00am to 6:00pm each day.  The teleconferences were requested by Jeff Sargent, NFPA Staff Liaison.  For additional information contact Einstein Miller, (301)987-2469; e-mail: emiller@cpsc.gov.
