Carolyn Manley, Michelle Guice, Benjamin Mordecai, Jay Kadiwala, and Rik Khanna, representing CPSC’s Office of Compliance and Office of Hazard Identification and Reduction, will participate in the second annual Anti-Counterfeiting Innovation Week, held virtually this year the week of September 14 - 18, 2020. The event is co-hosted by the United States National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center), the International IP Crime Investigators College (IIPCIC), and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The purpose of the event is to promote safety and combat counterfeit products. The event will focus on several key industries, including fire protection, toys, and batteries. Representatives from each industry, as well as government and enforcement representatives, will participate in industry-specific forums that will include virtual collaboration sessions, workshops, and webinar training opportunities for addressing persistent counterfeiting challenges.
