Hair Dryers Recalled by Vintage International Due to Electrocution Hazard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Vintage International Inc., of Hacienda Heights, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 2,300 National and Sanyo Hand-Held Hair Dryers. The hair dryers are not equipped with an immersion protection device to prevent electrocution if the hair dryer falls into water. Immersion protection devices, which prevent electrocution, are required by industry safety standards for all electric hand-held hair dryers.
