CPSC, Sanapac Co. Announce Recall of Dietary Supplements
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Sanapac Co., of Dallas, Pa., is voluntarily recalling about 140,000 bottles of dietary supplements containing elemental iron. The supplements being recalled are not packaged in child-resistant packaging as required under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. If accidentally swallowed by children in toxic amounts, these supplements can cause serious injury or death.
