Toys "R" Us Recalls "Elite Operations" Toy Sets Due to Lead and Laceration Hazards
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Toys ΓÇ£RΓÇ¥ Us Inc., of Wayne, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 128,700 ΓÇ£Elite OperationsΓÇ¥ Toy Sets. These toys contain high levels of lead in the paint, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Also, the toys have sharp points, posing a laceration hazard.
