The dishwasher power cord can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dishwashers, turn off power to the dishwasher at the circuit board and contact ASKO to schedule a free, in-home repair.

Home Meridian Recalls Three-Drawer Chests Due to Tip-Over and Entrapment Hazards

The recalled chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.  The chests do not comply with the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F2057-17).

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using any recalled chest that is not properly anchored to the wall and place it in an area that children cannot access. Contact Home Meridian to receive a free tip-over restraint kit mailed to the home, a one-time free in-home installation of the tip-over restraint kit, or a prepaid shipping label to mail in the drawer slides for a full refund.

Mold can be present on the fabric insert inside the helmet, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled collectible helmets and contact GameStop for a full refund and return instructions. GameStop is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Exploding Kittens Recalls Safety Goggles Sold with Extreme Edition Dodgeball Game Sets Due to Laceration Hazard; Sold Exclusively on Kickstarter (Recall Alert)

The goggles contain glass lenses, posing a laceration hazard if shattered.  

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Extreme Edition goggles and use scissors to cut the goggles down the flexible plastic center (above the nose bridge) and through the elastic strap. Exploding Kittens will replace the goggles with new safety-tested goggles upon receipt of an email with consumers’ mailing address and an image proving goggles have been destroyed. Exploding Kittens is contacting all known purchasers directly.

The bottles are not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a poisoning risk if the contents are swallowed by young children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately remove the essential oils from the reach of children and contact Healing Solutions for a free replacement child-resistant cap.
