This recall involves Ambiano mini deep fryers sold in two colors, brushed stainless steel and red. The recalled deep fryers have a black lid and were sold with a metal food basket. The deep fryers measure about 9.45 inches wide by 10.43 inches high by 8.23 inches deep. The units have Ambiano printed on the front. This recall involves Vornado VH101 Personal Vortex electric space heaters sold in the following colors: black, coral orange, grayed jade, cinnamon, fig, ice white and red. The heaters measure about 7.2 inches long by 7.8 inches wide by 7.10 inches high and have two heat settings (low and high) and a fan only/no heat setting. “Vornado” with a “V” behind it is printed on the front of the unit. The model/type “VH101,” serial number and ETL mark are printed on a silver rating label on the bottom of the unit.

Remedy:

Consumers should remove the alarm from the wall/ceiling and visually inspect it through the opening on the side of the alarm for the presence of a yellow cap. Consumers should not attempt to take apart the alarm, open the casing, or otherwise remove the yellow cap themselves. If a yellow cap is present, the consumer should immediately contact Kidde to receive instructions and request a free replacement smoke alarm. They should remove and discard the recalled smoke alarm only after they receive and install the replacement alarm. If no yellow cap is present, consumers should reinstall the smoke alarm and no further action is needed.

Incidents/Injuries:

The firm has received one report of the yellow protective cap being present on a smoke alarm before it was installed in a consumer’s home. No reports of incidents or injuries as a result of a yellow cap being present have been reported.

This recall involves menorahs given away as promotional items for Jewish Heritage Night at an NBA game for the Golden State Warriors on December 14, 2017. “Golden State Warriors,” “Jewish Heritage Night” and two Stars of David are printed on the front of the menorah. The polyresin menorahs have gold-colored aluminum candleholders on top of decorative basketballs. The center candleholder has an additional decorative basketball basket underneath the ball. This recall involves model “MM-B212” off-road mini bikes. The recalled bikes have a black powder-coated, gusset-reinforced, welded tube steel frame. Attached to the frame are two pneumatic tires with steel rims that measure 19 inches by 7 inches, a front fork with shocks, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, and a head light. The bikes are powered by a pull start self-contained 212cc, 7.5 hp gas engine and have a retractable kick stand. The mini bikes weigh 164 pounds and measure 64 inches long by 32.5 inches wide by 36 inches tall. There are two circular “MM 212” decals on the pull start and the transmission cover located on the left and right side of the bikes, a “Monster Moto” decal on the left and right shock absorbers, and an “MM 212” and Monster Moto logo on the left and right frame gussets.
