The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) staff is hosting a webinar forum on certain micromobility products; e-scooters, e-bikes, and hoverboards. The purpose of the event is to bring stakeholders together for a technically-focused meeting to exchange information on the use of these products by consumers and safety issues related to this usage, among other topics of interest. The meeting will include presentations and panel sessions. Issues of specific interest to CPSC staff can be found in the Federal Register notice for this event at: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-07-20/pdf/2020-15583.pdf.

All individuals who wish to attend should register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2064441241545141776 by August 28, 2020.

Individuals interested in serving on panels or presenting information at the meeting should e-mail Lawrence Mella at LMella@cpsc.gov by August 3, 2020 with a short summary or abstract of topics to be presented along with name, affiliation, and contact information.  CPSC staff will determine the final agenda and will notify those who are selected as presenters by August 14, 2020. If selected, a final presentation would be due August 28, 2020.  Every effort will be made to accommodate all interested speakers.
