Small Entity Compliance Guides

Small Entity Compliance Guides (SECGs) are prepared pursuant to section 212 of the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996 (SBREFA) (Title II of Public Law 104-121 (PDF), and as amended by Subtitle C of Public Law 110-28. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) prepares an SECG for each rule for which CPSC is required to prepare a final regulatory flexibility analysis under 5 U.S.C. 604 and 605(b).
