Acting Chairman Ann Marie Buerkle and staff will meet with representatives from the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory (AFSL): Mike Ingram, President; Nancy Nord, Board Member; John Rogers, Executive Director; Quin Dodd, General Counsel; and Rick Rosatti, VP, Government Affairs and Industry Standards, Bureau Veritas (which conducts testing for the AFSL Testing & Certification Program). Topics for discussion include an update of AFSL activities, benefits of consumer fireworks standards, and ongoing coordination between AFSL & CPSC.
