Company To Halt Sale Of Children's Pajamas That Fail To Meet Flammability Test
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today informed consumers that a small number of boys' and girls' pajamas made by S. Schwab Company, Inc., Upper Potomac Industrial Park, Cumberland, Maryland, failed to pass the flammability test for children's flame retarded sleepwear sizes 0 to 6X.

Flokati Rugs Sold In Washington, D.C., Area Fail Flammability Test CPSC Alerts Public
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today informed the public that some imported flokati rugs apparently sold only in the Washington, D.C., area during early 1973 failed to meet mandatory flammability requirements.

CPSC Warns Public Of Fire/Explosion Hazard Associated With Suspect Gas Leak Detector Fluid
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today warned consumers, mobile home manufacturers and distributors, and gas companies in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota that a blue colored gas leak detector fluid distributed since 1972 by L.P. Gas Equipment, Inc., St. Paul, Minnesota, can corrode brass fittings and lead to hazardous gas leaks and subsequent fires and explosions.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today announced that it has provisionally accepted a consent agreement prohibiting Siber Hegner and Co., Inc., 1250 Broadway, New York, New York, from importing and selling products which fail to meet the requirements of the Flammable Fabrics Act.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today announced that it has provisionally accepted a consent agreement prohibiting Plymouth Shops, Inc., 125 West End Avenue, New York City, from importing and selling products which fail to meet the requirements of the Flammable Fabrics Act, as amended.

CPSC Issues Warning On Certain Christmas Lights
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with the S.S. Kresge Co. and Noma Manufacturing and Import Co. today warned consumers that approximately 300,000 sets of indoor-outdoor miniature Christmas lights sold nationwide over the past two years could present severe hazard of electric shock and fire.
