Hazard:

The operator’s guide maintenance schedule section contains incorrect information regarding proper maintenance intervals for the clutch which can lead to clutch failure, including fragments to be ejected from the vehicle if not serviced, posing a risk of serious injuries.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Model Year 2022 and 2023 Can-Am Commander series, Defender series, Maverick Trail series equipped with an HD7 or 700 engines side-by-side vehicles until they have reviewed the new maintenance instructions. BRP will mail a free revised maintenance information booklet to registered owners. BRP is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The saddle’s rivet or stirrup bar can break, causing the rider to fall, posing an injury hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled saddles and contact Weatherbeeta for instructions to return the recalled saddle to receive a free replacement saddle, including free shipping, similar to theirs. Weatherbeeta is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The burner control knob can be incorrectly labeled, which can result in the grill being unintentionally left on, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Traeger Flatrock Flat Top Grills and contact Traeger for inspection instructions and, if the burner control knobs are incorrectly labeled, consumers will receive a free repair kit.

Hazard:

Some Griffin Duo Bunk Beds failed to be properly assembled by Room & Board with set screws installed into the side rail brackets at the time of delivery. Brackets lacking set screws can create a collapse risk, and fall and injury hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bunk beds and inspect each of the eight brackets to determine if set screws have been installed. If they have been installed in each bracket, new set screws are not needed. If any brackets are missing set screws, a set screw must be installed before the bunk bed is used again. Room & Board is contacting all purchasers directly with information on how to perform the bunk bed inspection and repair, and is providing free set screw repair kits to consumers upon request. For consumers unable to perform the inspection or repair, Room & Board will send a representative to their home to inspect for and install the set screws as necessary, free of charge. The recalled quilted cotton mattress pads fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattress pads, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled mattress pads immediately and contact Savvy Rest for a full refund. Consumers who purchased the mattress pads will be asked to destroy the product by cutting it with scissors and sending the recall firm a photo of the destroyed mattress pad at info@savvyrest.com. Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

The steering system can lock up while in use, posing a crash hazard and risk of serious injury to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair to replace the steering rack assembly. Polaris has notified consumers to stop riding the vehicles and is contacting registered owners directly.

Hazard:

Pressing the brake and throttle pedals simultaneously can deactivate the throttle. If the brake is then released, the vehicle can move and the throttle can still be deactivated, posing a crash hazard and risk of serious injury.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Polaris or an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair, including an update to the vehicle control system. Polaris has notified consumers to stop riding the vehicles and is contacting registered owners directly.

Hazard:

The power cord can become damaged near the cord bushing, which can lead to overheating of the cord, posing fire and burn hazards. In addition, cord damage near the bushing can result in exposed copper wires, posing a shock hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled irons and visit the Steamfast or Vornado website to register for the recall and receive a refund or a free replacement iron.
