Stanley Security Solutions Announces Recall of Door Locksets; Failure of Latches Could Lead to Entrapment in an Emergency
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Stanley Security Solutions Inc., of Indianapolis, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 63,100 6K and 7KC series door locksets. The latches can fail and the door cannot be unlocked from the inside, posing an entrapment hazard. This failure could lead to the inability to vacate a location in an emergency.
Remedy:

Consumers should contact Stanley Security Solutions to schedule an appointment to have the latches replaced free of charge.

Ceramic Banks Recalled by Oriental Trading Company Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Oriental Trading Company, Inc. of Omaha, Ne., is voluntarily recalling about 220,000 Ceramic piggy and lion banks. The yellow surface paint on the banks contains excessive levels of lead which is prohibited under federal law.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take these recalled ceramic banks away from children, discard them and contact Oriental Trading Company for information on receiving a refund or credit.

Fu San Machinery Recalls Low Lead Ball Valves Installed in Flammable Gas Lines Due to Fire and Explosion Hazards
The low lead brass shut-off valves can crack and cause gas to leak.
Remedy:

Consumers should turn off the gas supply until a replacement gas valve has been professionally installed. Consumers should contact Danville Sales which, on behalf of Fu San Machinery, will provide compensation of $300 to reimburse customers for costs incurred to remove and return the valve and for purchasing and installing a replacement valve. The affected valve should be returned to the Danville Sales Office for Fu San Machinery with a photo depicting the valve in the gas line before removal and showing the date code on the valve, along with the address and details of the location where the valve was installed.  The requested information, the recalled valve, and the consumer name and address should be sent to the address in the Consumer Contact paragraph. Upon receipt, Fu San will reimburse customers in the amount of $300.

Locker Brand Recalls Rx Lockers Due to Failure Leading to Allowing Unauthorized Access to Medicine Containers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Locker Brand Inc. of Henderson, Nev., is voluntarily recalling about 59,600 medicine bottle storage containers. The medicine container can open by applying pressure to the latch when it is locked. This could result in unauthorized access to medicine bottles in the container.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using this product and contact Locker Brand for a free return mailer. When the product is returned, Rx Locker will provide a full refund.

Children's Mood Rings and Necklaces Recalled by D&D Distributing-Wholesale Due To Risk of Lead Exposure
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, D&D Distributing-Wholesale Inc., of Tacoma, Wash., is voluntarily recalling about 19,000 Mood Rings and 4,000 Necklaces. The metal rings and necklaces contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Brine Recalls VIP Lacrosse Gloves Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Brine, a division of Warrior Sports Inc., of Warren, Mich., is voluntarily recalling Youth and Adult Brine VIP Lacrosse Gloves, about 7,000 in the United States and 30 in Canada. Screen printing ink used on the silver triad logo on the back of the glove contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.

Daiso Recalls Children's Coin Purses and Jewelry Due to Risk of Lead Exposure
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Daiso California LLC of Hayward, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 190 Children's Coin Purses and Jewelry Sets. The surface paint on the zippers of the coin purses and the clasps on the jewelry contain high levels of lead.

Target Recalls Children's Belts Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Target Corp. of Minneapolis, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 105,150 boys' and girls' belts. The belt buckles contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
