Build-A-Bear Workshop Recalls Lapel Pins Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Build-A-Bear Workshop, of St. Louis, Mo., is voluntarily recalling about 26,500 (in the United States) and 2,200 (in Canada) Love.Hugs.Peace lapel pins. Surface paints on the lapel pin contain excessive levels of lead which is prohibited under federal law.
Remedy:

Stop using the lapel pins and return the lapel pin to any Build-A-Bear Workshop store to receive a $5 store coupon. If it is not possible to return the pin to a store, you can contact the company for alternate instructions on receiving a refund.

Cost Plus Inc. Recalls Wooden Animal Drum Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Cost Plus Inc. of Oakland, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 1,000 Wooden animal drums. The paint used on the drum is in excess of the maximum allowable level of 90 ppm, a violation of the federal lead paint standard.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the toy and return it to Cost Plus World Market for a full refund.

EKSuccess Brands Recalls American Girl Crafts Jewelry Kit Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, EKSuccess Brands, a division of Wilton Brands Inc., of Woodbridge, Ill., is voluntarily recalling about 75,000 American Girl Crafts Pearly Beads & Ribbon bracelets kits. The surface coating on some of the beads contains excessive levels of lead, which is prohibited under federal law.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled kits and any finished bracelets made from the kits away from children and contact the company for a full refund.

G.A. Gertmenian and Sons Recalls Toy Story 3 Bowling Game Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, G.A. Gertmenian and Sons, LLC, of Los Angeles, is voluntarily recalling about 600 Toy Story 3 bowling games. The red paint used on some bowling pins has been measured to be in excess of the maximum allowable level of 90 ppm, a violation of the federal lead paint standard.
Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the bowling pins immediately and contact the manufacturer for a free replacement set.

Stanley Security Solutions Announces Recall of Door Locksets; Failure of Latches Could Lead to Entrapment in an Emergency
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Stanley Security Solutions Inc., of Indianapolis, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 63,100 6K and 7KC series door locksets. The latches can fail and the door cannot be unlocked from the inside, posing an entrapment hazard. This failure could lead to the inability to vacate a location in an emergency.
Remedy:

Consumers should contact Stanley Security Solutions to schedule an appointment to have the latches replaced free of charge.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Oriental Trading Company, Inc. of Omaha, Ne., is voluntarily recalling about 220,000 Ceramic piggy and lion banks. The yellow surface paint on the banks contains excessive levels of lead which is prohibited under federal law.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take these recalled ceramic banks away from children, discard them and contact Oriental Trading Company for information on receiving a refund or credit.

Locker Brand Recalls Rx Lockers Due to Failure Leading to Allowing Unauthorized Access to Medicine Containers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Locker Brand Inc. of Henderson, Nev., is voluntarily recalling about 59,600 medicine bottle storage containers. The medicine container can open by applying pressure to the latch when it is locked. This could result in unauthorized access to medicine bottles in the container.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using this product and contact Locker Brand for a free return mailer. When the product is returned, Rx Locker will provide a full refund.
