The "Young Hearts"-brand three-piece sets have a belted vest that could become snagged or caught in small spaces or vehicle doors.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately detach the faux half-belt from the side seams of the vest to eliminate the hazard, or return the set to the store where purchased for a full refund.

The child-resistant caps on these medicines do not work properly. Recalled medicines were manufactured before December 21, 2011.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Novartis for instructions on how to return the product for a full refund.

The pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear. This poses a risk of burn injury to children.
Remedy:

Children should stop wearing the recalled sleepwear immediately and consumers should return it for a refund, exchange or store credit.

Children's Hooded Jackets and Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Recalled By VOS Sports Due To Strangulation Hazard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, VOS Sports Inc., City of Industry, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 11,700 Hooded jackets and sweatshirts. The children's hooded sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood and/or waist that can pose a strangulation or entrapment hazard to children.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts and jackets to eliminate the hazard or contact VOS Sports Inc. for instructions on how to return the item for a full refund.

Vicks Dayquil Cold & Flu Liquicaps Recalled by Procter & Gamble Due To Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Closure Requirement
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Procter & Gamble Co., of Cincinnati, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 700,000 packages of Vicks Dayquil Cold & Flu 24-Count Bonus Pack Liquicaps. The cold and flu medicine contains acetaminophen and is not in child-resistant packaging and lacks the statement, "This Package for Households Without Young Children," as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. This medicine could cause serious health problems or death to a child if several of the capsules are swallowed.
Remedy:

Consumers should keep this product out of the reach of children. Consumers who purchased the product with the expectation that it would be in child-resistant packaging can contact Procter & Gamble for a full refund or a replacement coupon. Adult consumers can continue to use the product as directed.

Chariot Carriers Recalls Child Bicycle Trailers and Conversion Kits Due to Injury Hazard
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Thule Child Transport Systems Ltd., d/b/a Chariot Carriers, of Calgary, Canada, is voluntarily recalling about 44,000 Chariot bicycle trailers and 70,000 bicycle trailer conversion kits. The bicycle trailer's hitch mechanisms can crack and break, causing the trailer to detach from the bicycle. This poses an injury hazard to children in the bicycle trailer.
Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycle trailers and bicycle trailer conversion kits and contact Chariot Carriers for a free repair kit which the consumer can install.

Hooey Recalls Children’s Sweatshirts with Drawstrings Due to Strangulation Hazard

A drawstring in the sweatshirt hood poses a strangulation hazard to children. Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation hazard to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled sweatshirts away from children and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard.

The pajamas fail to meet the federal flammability standard for children’s sleepwear that requires sleepwear to be either snug-fitting or flame resistant, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children and contact SAMpark for a full refund.
