The dining chairs can break, posing a fall hazard.  

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the dining chairs and contact Whalen for instructions to receive a full refund.  Whalen is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

Internal electrical components can fail, allowing the units to overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately contact their installing servicer, dealer, or contractor to arrange for a free replacement of the outdoor unit.  While awaiting replacement, consumers should monitor the recalled heat pumps while they are being operated and keep foliage and other flammable items at least 24 inches away from the recalled units.  Lennox is contacting all known independent dealers about the recall directly.  The dealers will contact individual consumers to arrange for recalled outdoor units to be removed and replacement units to be installed.

The nightgowns fail to meet the federal flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. 

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and contact Ishtex Textile Products for a full refund.

Hazard:

The recalled chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using any recalled chest that is not properly anchored to the wall and place it in an area that children cannot access.  Safavieh will provide packaging and pre-paid shipping labels so that consumers can remove the chest’s drawer slides and return them to the firm for a full refund.

Hazard:

The recalled chest is unstable if it is not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.  The chest does not comply with the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM 2057-17).

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chest unless properly anchored to the wall, and place it in an area that children cannot access.  Contact Home Depot for a full refund with free chest pick-up.

Hazard:

The holster design can change the position of the safety switch on the firearm without the user knowing it. When this occurs, if the trigger is accidentally pulled, the firearm could fire unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard to the user and bystanders.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled holsters and contact Browning for a free replacement.

Hazard:

Infant fatalities have been reported with other manufacturers’ inclined sleep products, after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side, or under other circumstances.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled inclined sleeper accessory and contact Kolcraft for a $35 voucher to be used on www.Kolcraft.com or a $20 refund.  The voucher can be used until February 20, 2022.  Kolcraft is contacting all registered owners and known purchasers directly via a postcard by mail.  Consumers can continue to use the bassinet without the inclined sleeper accessory.

Hazard:

The water bottle’s clear silicone spout can detach, posing a choking hazard to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water bottles and the replacement lids provided in the previous recall, take them away from children, and contact Contigo for a free water bottle. Consumers who received replacement lids in the previous recall should contact Contigo for the new water bottle.

About 5.7 million (In addition, about 157,000 were sold in Canada and about 28,000 sold in Mexico) These water bottles were previously recalled in August 2019.

Hazard:

The front wheel hubs on the golf cars can crack causing the front wheels to detach, posing a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or bystander.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Yamaha Golf Cars and contact a Yamaha Golf car dealer to schedule a free repair.  Yamaha is contacting all registered owners directly.
